Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our products and billing.

Where does your coffee come from?

All our coffee is single-origin, sourced directly from smallholder farm cooperatives in the Nyeri and Kirinyaga counties of Central Kenya. We specifically select high-altitude lots grown on volcanic soil.

How fresh is the coffee?

We roast in small batches on a weekly basis.

Where do you ship to, and what are the shipping costs?

We currently ship within the UK only. Standard delivery is £3.05 via Royal Mail Tracked 48, arriving in 2–3 business days. Orders of 1kg or more qualify for free shipping. Your exact shipping cost will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Please note that orders received after 4pm on Friday will be processed the following Monday and will arrive within 2–3 working days.

What is your return policy?

Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we do not accept returns. However, if you are not satisfied with your coffee or if there was an error with your order, please contact us within 30 days and we will make it right.

How should I store my coffee?

We recommend keeping your beans in our resealable bags or an airtight container, stored in a cool, dark, and dry place.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes! We recently launched the Wakiru Coffee Club for a monthly subscription service. By choosing the 'Subscribe & Save' option on any product page, you'll save 10% on every bag. You can manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.

Can I combine subscription and one-time items?

Absolutely. Our checkout handles mixed carts seamlessly. Your first delivery will include everything in your cart (both subscription and regular items). After that, your subscription will automatically renew for just the coffee you've chosen to receive regularly.
